To celebrate their upcoming 8th birthday in Oxford, I was kindly invited to Swoon’s little get-together last week.

Swoon is home to authentic Italian gelato. Their story began about 120 years ago, and to this day, they continue to use traditional methods to slowly churn their gelato, using high-quality natural ingredients.
If you know me, you know gelato is everything to me, and this celebration basically consisted of my dream setup: all the gelato you could want alongside sweet canapés, macarons, prosecco, and much more.

Beautifully authentic
…is the best way to describe the gelato.
It’s so creamy, and it’s exactly like the gelato I’ve had in Italy, both from a taste and texture perspective.
Everyone in there is very welcoming (I say this having been a Swoon fan for a long time), and even though it’s a small spot on Oxford High Street, it’s perfectly located for a little pit stop then a walk around.
Favourite gelato flavour: Hazelnut
Favourite gelato combo: Tiramisu and Pistachio
Favourite sorbet flavour: Raspberry
Favourite sorbet combo: Mango and Raspberry

If you haven’t visited before, I highly recommend you get yourself there very soon, and if you have, a trip back wouldn’t hurt! Oh, and if it helps, this is my Italian friend’s fav spot, so if that doesn’t say something, I don’t know what will.
