This May, instead of our usual Bitten Street at Oxford Castle, you’re in for an extra special treat, in the form of The British Street Food Awards 2015!
Earlier this year we managed to tempt Richard Johnson, journalist, broadcaster and founder of The British Street Food Awards, along to our opening event of the year, with the promise of a growing street food event and great new location for one of their regional heats.
We were really excited to announce since, that Oxford would in fact be hosting the OPENING HEAT for the Awards. Oxford Castle Quarter, Bitten Street’s home venue, will be transformed over the weekend of 1st-4th May this year with some the best street food in the country, plus music courtesy of the Universal Music Group and plenty of fun and entertainment.
There will be recognisable faces from the Bitten Street crew competing, so do come along and support. We’ll see you there!
Full details, including how to purchase early bird tickets, have been announced in The Independent this morning. Click here to read the full article in The Independent
If you’re hungry for more Bitten Street, you won’t have long to wait, we’re holding a special Bitten Street Night Market at the Castle on Friday 8th May from 5-9pm. Expect our usual epic selection of street food, plus drinks and our resident DJ Ollie East. Check out our Facebook events page for the full lineup of Bitten Street events
