Durban Spice is a South African inspired supper club based in Wheatley, Oxfordshire. Supper Clubs are already a unique experience, however, this is special because Durban Spice offers regional, authentic South African food which they feel really showcases and offers guests an insight into the flavours, diversity and exciting world of Southern Africa, which is just so different to anything experienced in the UK.

Aside from Indian influences, traditional South African food has its roots in Dutch, Malay, Portuguese and African tribal influences as well. It is a melting pot of all things fragrant, rich and deeply fulfilling! Durban Spice loves sharing good quality, home-cooked meals in the relaxed, homely and very friendly comfort of their lovely home restaurant. It is more than just a supper, it is a journey through South Africa where they share stories of their country and food with all diners who visit.

Durban Spice offers a range of events from 5-course supper clubs, 4 course seafood evenings and a unique, very traditional 3 course ‘Bunny Chow’ evening. They also host private bookings and provide some of their delights for collection, such as pickles, samosa’s and their famous biltong pate! They hope to welcome you soon.
