Bitten Street, Oxford’s street food market, kicked off back in 2014. We popped up at Oxford Brookes, North Parade Market, and have since made Oxford Castle Quarter our home, with a rotating selection of street food and drink.
Hosting a regular collection of local traders whilst also playing host to a glittering selection of the UK’s best street food traders from further afield, each event is unique and each trader is hand-picked for their awesome quality and style.
Named one of the country’s best street food markets, TWICE!
- One of “The Best Street Food Markets in England” says Culture Trip.
- One of “The UK’s Best Street Food Markets” according to The Telegraph.
- A top choice according to The Guardian.
New for 2018: produce and crafts, plus year-round events
We met so many brilliant producers and makers through organising Oxford Food & Drink Festival, that we’re adding local produce and craft to the Bitten Street lineup, all with the same high level of quality as the street food we book! To fit it all in, we’ll be spreading out across more of Oxford Castle Quarter.
In addition to expanding the market, we’re now running all year round, on the first Saturday monthly (unless otherwise specified). We will take a break every January – because who wants to be running a market in the first week on Jan(?!) – but otherwise, we’ll be there every. single. month.
See the full list of dates on our Facebook events page, trader lineups will be published there so hit ‘attending’ to get updates.
Share your pics and join in all the action with #BittenStreet – what will you discover this year?
