Organisers have announced that the 2015 Oxford Wine Festival will take place at the world famous Oxford Union buildings on the 21st and 22nd August.
The inaugural 2014 wine festival saw an attendance of over 1800 wine lovers, with visitors flying in from as far away as California and South Africa.
The festival brings together many of the UK’s leading wine merchants and regional specialists, and features hundreds of award-winning and rare wines from over twenty countries. The event also includes live music, an English vineyards room, artisan food stalls, and an extensive tutored tasting program from some of the world’s leading wine authorities.
“The first Oxford Wine Festival was a huge success, and we’re delighted that many of our exhibitors from 2014 have already rebooked,” says Chris Bowling, the Managing Director of the festival. “Next year’s event will feature an even wider range of wines and tutored tastings, as well as an expanded live music program and street food stalls selected to accompany the wines.”
Also new for 2015 is a Friday evening session, which organizers predict will be popular for corporate evenings out and visitors looking to unwind after work.
Discounted Early Bird tickets for the festival are on sale now. Further information can be found on the Oxford Wine Festival website – www.oxfordwinefestival.org.
